Foundling

Wanda and Marcin head to Orava to try to piece together what remains of their relationship after their shared struggle with infertility. During their stay in the countryside, where local beliefs blend with religion in the daily melting pot, Wanda stumbles upon the ritual of creating a Podciep—a child born of nature. Unable to find support in Marcin, she undertakes the ritual, which, like all magic, gives much—but at the same time takes much away.
